Proud to be Rated Good by Ofsted

At Fledglings Day Nursery, we are proud to have been awarded a Good rating by Ofsted, recognising the high-quality care, education and nurturing environment we provide for every child.

Inspectors praised our ambitious curriculum, strong relationships between staff and children, and the welcoming atmosphere that helps children feel safe, secure and confident from the moment they arrive.

Ofsted noted that:

"Children are happy and feel safe at this nursery."

The report also recognised our focus on communication and language, commenting that:

"Leaders create an ambitious curriculum that focuses on children's communication and language."

Inspectors highlighted many of the strengths that make Fledglings special, including our calm and purposeful learning environment, children's growing independence, healthy lifestyles, and the strong partnerships we build with families. Parents praised the excellent communication from staff and the positive impact the nursery has had on their children's development.

Safeguarding was recognised as effective, with Ofsted confirming there is "an open and positive culture around safeguarding that puts children's interests first."
