Welcome to Fledglings Thorne

At Fledglings Thorne, we provide high-quality childcare and early years education for children aged 3 months to 5 years in a warm, nurturing and inclusive environment.

Following our first Ofsted inspection in 2026, we were recognised as delivering a Strong Standard, with inspectors praising our welcoming atmosphere, the impressive progress children make and our commitment to helping every child thrive.

Funding term dates

The last day of the summer funding term is Friday 17th July 2026.

The Autumn term starts on Tuesday 1st September 2026.

Closure dates

The nursery will be closed for the bank holiday on Monday 31st August 2026.
