 WELCOME TO FLEDGLINGS THORNE

Located at 20 Field Road, Thorne we are a small day nursery established in 2024.

We provide full day care for children from 3 months to 5 years.

DATES AND EVENTS

Term dates

 Half term is Monday 27th – Friday 31st October 2025

 The nursery will close for Christmas  at 6:00pm on Tuesday 23rd December 2025 and reopen on Monday 5th January 2026.

African Ark visit – 17th September

Children will take part in African song, dance and art activities

Toddler community walk  - w.c: 15th September

Our toddlers will take a walk around our local area in small groups.

Oral Health Week - w.c: 22nd September 2025

During oral health week, children will learn about the importance of caring for their teeth through a range of fun activities.

Harvest Festival – w.c 6th October

Children across the setting will celebrate the harvest, learn about where our food comes from and give thanks.

Diwali – 20th October 2025

Children will learn about Diwali, the festival of light.
