DATES AND EVENTS
Term dates
The Autumn funding term ends on Friday 12th December 2025. This applies to all children on a term time only plan.
The Spring 2026 term starts on Monday 5th January 2026.
The nursery will close for Christmas at 5:30pm on Tuesday 23rd December 2025 and reopen on Monday 5th January 2026.
Events
w/c: 24/11 – NSPCC PANTS week
Children in preschool will take part in activities designed by NSPCC to support them to stay safe.
Christmas Jumper Day – 11th December 2025
Children are invited to wear their most festive jumper (or outfit) and donate £1.00 to Save the Children
Carols around the Christmas Tree – 11th December 2025

Christmas activity week – w/c; 15th December 2025
Children will take part in a range of festive activities throughout the week including baking, crafts and games. We are also hoping for a visit from a special visitor during the week……!
15th December 2025 Debutots Magical Christmas Visit
Debutots drama groups will visit all rooms for an interactive Christmas story sessions
16th December 2025 Christmas Dinner
Our lovely cook will serve Christmas dinner to all the children
Preschool football
Children in preschool will continue taking part in weekly football sessions, led by Magda and Danielle who play in Dunscroft Warriors Ladies Team.
